What kickstarted or influenced my career in Travel?

I have a family that lives all over the World, so I have travelled to many different places to visit friends and family. I have lived in Germany and in Majorca and have travelled to several locations all around the world, including Thailand, Japan, Greece, Italy, Egypt, Portugal and more. Seeing the world and its beautiful places fascinates me and has given me a passion in travel that I would like to share with everyone, to provide everyone with the opportunity to fulfil their travel dreams.

Where in the world have I travelled?

Punta Cana, Tunisia, Portugal, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Greece, Tenerife, Majorca, Egypt, Italy.

What is my most memorable destination?

Thailand - Thailand is one of my favorite places that I have visited. Perfect for a multi destination trip, to Experience the beautiful Islands

  • Koh Samui (Samui Island) is a popular resort island in the Gulf of Thailand with stunning beaches and plenty of fun activities. Koh Samui attracts a wide range of visitors, suitable for all budgets. You can stay in beachside bungalows, or in one of the many 5-star luxury resorts and villas on the island. There are 3 main beach towns on Samui island, each offering different experiences. From the hustle and bustle of Chaweng Beach to the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of Lamai Beach and the timeless feel of Bophut's Fisherman's Village, Koh Samui is unique among Thailand's islands in maintaining a broad appeal for many types of visitors.

  • Islands near Koh Samui are the top choices for island-hopping adventures in the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Phangan is Thailand’s 5th largest island that's located just 12 km north of Koh Samui and is still barely developed. Ferries from the mainland and Samui are at hand to get there, leaving frequently throughout the morning and early afternoon. It features a hilly, lush tropical jungle interior, many idyllic, long white-sand beaches and over 20 nearby dive sites. Featuring a good choice of accommodation options for all budget types, Koh Phangan’s main claim to fame is largely due to its many full-moon, black moon and half-moon parties held on the beach of Haad Rin. The rugged, mountainous interior is also more dramatic than many other islands in Thailand.

  • Koh Tao (“Turtle Island” in Thai) lives up to its name, being one of the greatest scuba diving destinations in southern Thailand. The perfect white-sand beaches which ring the hilly 21-sq-km island are surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand. The compact island is about 60 km to the north of Samui and was only really “discovered” in the early 1980s, but now supports a varied selection of hotels, from budget guesthouses and beach bungalows up to 5-star luxury resorts. So far from civilization and while still being relatively easily reached, it is the idyllic tropical island paradise.

10 Reasons to Book with an Agent

Security
Travel agents are bonded and licensed so no matter what happens, from flight cancellations to ash clouds, your holiday is secure. This peace of mind is priceless and ensures you can put your feet up before you even reach the airport.

Saves Time
Search for ‘holidays in Las Vegas’ or ‘honeymoons in Barbados’ (or wherever you fancy) online and you’ll find thousands of results to trawl through. Even if you ask friends and family for advice and spend hours reading online reviews, there’s still a huge amount of planning and research needed before you even think of clicking ‘book’. One of the best reasons to book with a travel agent is their in-depth knowledge of destinations, airlines and resorts. A travel agent will save you an enormous amount of precious time. “You don’t need to do your homework for a successful trip. We already have it done for you.”

Knowledge
Travel agents have been there, done that and bought the t-shirt.

Value for Money
Fourth on our list of top 10 reasons to book with a travel agent is one of the most compelling – value for money. Travel agents can get you the best deal around but their focus is always on value, rather than cutting corners to get you the lowest price.

Stress Free Holidays
Unlike an online site where you book your holiday and then you’re on your own, travel agents are contactable each step of the way.

Insider Access
With their insider know-how, travel agents make sure you get the best offers. “Travel agents have access to “Trade Only” sites which offer the very best available rates for all products – flights, transfers, accommodation, attraction tickets, insurance and more.”

No Hidden Charges
A good travel agent is upfront about the total cost of a trip before you book.

Help in Emergencies
If anything goes wrong, a travel agent can save the day. Having someone to help in an emergency is definitely one of the top 10 reasons to book with a travel agent.

Flexibility
Travel agents know how busy their clients are so they always aim to be flexible and easy to work with in every way.

Long Lasting Relationship
By talking to a travel agent about what you want from your holiday, they get to know you and your needs. Over time, they learn what you like and don’t like on your travels and this relationship means they can create your dream holiday.
